The Hidden Voice: What Readers Can Expect

January 19, 2026

The Hidden Voice is my upcoming middle‑grade novel, and I am excited to share a preview with you. This book is different from Friends, Not Foes because it is based on a true story about a child who discovers an unexpected talent. The story is fictionalised but inspired by real events that show how courage and perseverance can lead to surprising outcomes.

The main character, Amina, lives in a small town and loves reading about explorers. She never thought of herself as a singer until she joined her school choir. Through hard work and the encouragement of her music teacher, she finds her voice and discovers that she can inspire others. Along the way, Amina learns about leadership, teamwork and the value of expressing oneself.

This book is aimed at readers aged nine to twelve. It is longer than Friends, Not Foes and explores more mature themes like self‑discovery and responsibility. However, it still focuses on kindness and resilience. I hope that middle‑grade readers will see themselves in Amina and realise that their unique talents deserve to be heard.

The Hidden Voice will be available soon. I am currently finishing revisions and working with editors to make the story as strong as possible. Watch for updates on release dates, and thank you for your interest and support.
